New photo's of old work
Greetings, I finally made time to reshoot some of my work with my relatively new Alien Bees studio strobes and a “focus gray” paper backdrop. First up, a small side table in colored and crackle lacquer. The rail joint is a half lap, rail to leg is mortice and tenon, the top is attached with bolts through hollow cylinders into insert nuts in the bottom of the top. The turned cones are press fit in case I ever want to undo the bolts to remove the top. The base is BC maple and the top is Australian Orientalwood.
