Shop is half of a free standing metal building that was long awaited, until after my last child graduated from college. It is pretty much a basic shop with chop saw, joiner, planer, lathe, drill press, band saw and table saw. I tend to build more outdoor furniture type projects (adirondack chairs, rocking chairs and a variety of picnic tables), however I intend to move more into finer furniture as I have more time.

Ray, you have a good looking shop and put together a nice collection of tools to play with. Thanks for the picture.

Nice looking shop! That looks like an aweful nice TV for a shop! If I had a television like that in my shop, I don’t think there would ever be a need to go in the house.
great workspace

TV was a refurbished one at a great price. Perfect for keeping up with Auburn Football and NASCAR while working on weekends.

Ray, I picked up on that Lathe Duplicator. How does it work for you and what type?
It is something on my wish list.

Tom,
The Lathe duplicator is a Vega. It works great for me in building rocking chairs and getting the legs to match without having time to try and match each leg individually. I can hand turn on the backside of the lathe without taking the duplicator off.

Wow, Ray, there ain’t nothin’ short about your shop. The building is very nice and you have some wonderful equipment. You could build anything that you want to in that shop.
