got a couple streaks with GF Gel Satin Topcoat - 5 replies So, trying something new on a tabletop. I have the wood all sanded, cleaned, applied Danish oil for the first time. Turned out very nice, will probably use the Danish oil again. Now I’m putting the topcoat on. Using GF satin Gel Topcoat. Put the first coat on a piece of scrap cutoff from the finished table. Drum sander and endgrain Purpleheart - 16 replies I finally got my 16-32 drum sander. Nice!! Anyway, it does a wonderful job on facegrain anything I’ve thrown at it.
