It has taken me a while with the weather to overcome, but I have started on my outdoor projects for the year. I have added two more flower beds. Now, all of my flower beds are covered with a thick layer of cedar mulch. The two raised flower/vegetable gardens are in the process of being built out of cedar to be placed on either side of my storage shed.
I have designed a stand to hold my garden hose and sprayer out of cedar. I am looking forward to building some storage/benches with flower boxes on each end to add to my deck out of some salvaged cedar planks that a friend of my found on a friend’s property that came from a cedar fence that was being torn down. He is also going to make me some shelves/wall quilt racks that I designed out of this cedar. Repurposing and recycling cedar is a great way to be friendly to the environment and save some trees.
I hope you find the answers to whatever quest you are trying to complete as I have been fortunate to be able to do in searching for more ways to incorporate cedar into my home/outdoor space!
