Cabinet Finishing w/ Arm-R-Seal, enough protection? - 3 replies

I am in the process of a kitchen remodel for my lovely wife and planned on using arm-r-seal as a finish for the cabinets (oak). I was wondering if any of you have used a wiping varnish on high use items such as this and how it held up. as always thanks for your response Robert

I was wondering if mineral spirits or denatured alcohol are Ok to wipe down the surface prior to applying finish such as arm-r-seal, what do you guys do to remove dust before applying finish? thanks as always Robert

Anyone ever turn black palm? - 5 replies

Pen Turning Question - 3 replies

Can anyone recommend a method to keep the bushings from sticking to the blanks when turning pens, especially burls that are fragile and break when seperated, I use a CA finish and “break it loose” after each coat, Is there anything else I can do. Thanks for your help Robert
