Having recently moved, I am deliberately taking the time to service all my machines etc ready for the new space. This new space is exciting – and comprises of a 2.5 car garage (12 metres long – sorry about the metric but as an 39 year old Australian I have basically had to learn imperial because of you Americans, so work it out!). Makes for a very linear workspace, but most ww machining process are linear in composition, generally speaking.

Toolbox is as follows:

• Delta 10 inch Unisaw (imported from US, quite the drama, but love him dearly)

• Home made router table featuring Triton TR001 with Woodpecker Unilift (a joy to behold) Welded steel frame (thanks to my father, Colin) Engineered Router table top, Incra LS 25 Wonderfence system. *Cabinet and drawers yet to do

• 15 inch Thickness Planer (Carbatec brand, Australia)

• 8 inch Jointer (Carbatec brand, Australia)

• Porter Cable Biscuit/Plate joiner

• Makita LS1212 305mm Sliding Compound Mitre saw

• 5 or 6 Hnt Gordon Wooden Hand planes (shoulder/trying/jack/etc)

• Handsaws (Adria) Tenon, Rip, Crosscut (and a couple of Japanese saws incl. a flush-cut saw)

• Colen Clenton Tools Cutting Gauge (a work of art)

• Delta 16.5 inch Pedestal Drill Press

• Due early Feb: Jet 22 inch Bandsaw

  • all I can think of now, will update again soon….

You’ve got a slick set-up and an eye for precision jigs… I like where your head is. Nice shop.

You have a nice looking shop. I really like your router table set-up. One of these is on my wish list.

Thanks for sharing.

Delta unisaw?
That’s a nice bit of kit, I bet was indeed a pain in the ass to import to oz, but clearly worth it.
I’ll have to stick with my chinese sh!t for now.
Nice looking setup all round there.
