Hello all,

I have a vintage Delta RAS model 33-285. The motor now refuses to start and I traced the issue to a faulty motor start relay and weak capicator. The capicator I can get in a different configuration but same mfd rate. The relay tho has been discontinued and even the original maker, Klixon has changed it slightly but I am unable to locate one anywhere so far. The Delta P/N of the relay is 438-01-015-0017, the Klixon number is 2CR4-930. Does anyone out there have any ideas? I have searched the web and contacted several parts dealers across the country to no avail. I can’t believe that I would have to replace the motor entirely, it works very well and I believe in saving our old woodworking tolls for our future to use.

Thank you for any help,

Rick

I believe the Dewalt saws used the same parts. You might head over to the Dewalt RAS forums and ask there or take a look at their classifieds. Another option is OWWM. I have seen quite a few reecent listings for Delta RAS parts lately on BOYD.
