Recently my wife, Deb, and I were fortunate enough to fly over to Christchurch, New Zealand … this was mainly to visit our daughter, Amanda, her partner, Paul and our grandson Malakai Deb wanted to see snow…It was also her birthday and our anniversary… so I killed a few birds with one stone…Numer One Grandson … Malakai… and to recharge my batteries.This was the first overseas holiday we had taken in 24 years of marriage…. long overdue and now we h...

Part 2: Riccarton Markets.

Last week while in Christchurch….I visited the local Riccarton Rotary Sunday Markets. This market is the largest in New Zealand with over 300 stall holders each week… although only a few offer woodwork, it is of a high standard.. Should you find your self in Christchurch make a point of visiting the markets… I had a small chat with a few of the stall holders and even bought a timber photo frame… One of the people I spoke with was Judy from Sublime Art.. she...
