Gosh, Larry, you turned out pretty good for the start you had :-)) I don’t have any old ones in digital format. You’d never believe it was me anyways!!

I could have had one of those Aussie sailor hats, if I would have had the money, the Phillipinos, would steal them for us if we paid them enough, I did not have the money, I spent it on beer, everybody wanted one.
as an old US Navy squid, to an Aussie Squid, I SALUTE you.

NO, I never did get that drunk, nasty stuff, we spent a lot of time on Grande Island, nice club, and great snorkeling.

So YOU lot were the ones who gave this place it,s reputation! :-) Doubt you,se would recognize Subic bay now. It,s a korean shipyard and hotel strip. P.S If you ever in clark, what happens in fields ave still stays in fields ave.

Sounds like I chose right in joining the Army. The ONLY OS I had to deal with was a couple of weeks in Hawaii, nearly all of which I spent sitting on a hill having gas grenades dropped on me from passing helicopters. But I do remember Hotel Street, it scared the #$%^ out of me.

Cheers

Degoose – Love the snake pit pic.

Woodfix – Last time I was on hotel street (in 1994) it was still quite scary. Not that I ever hung around there or anything…
