A while back I had a request for a ready made box… this time the commission is for a special item….

I do not intend to reveal the nature of the commission… suffice to say… follow along and all will be revealed…

I took a board of Queensland Red Cedar [toona australis]

Cut about 700 mm from one end…. dressed it… cut it in half and glued it together…

Shown in the clamps…

You will have to check back tomorrow to see what I do next….!!!

You have access to some amazing wood my friend. I will not be sitting here trying to guess what you are about to create. Okay just a little hint. What does it start with? Not giving in I see. Okay I will have to down a few pints and wait like the rest.
