You have met Col and Ken, but the most talented bloke I know in the area is my good mate Kev from FatBoy Furniture…

I ran into Kev at the local inspirational centre… 1st Choice bottle-o…. where we were looking for inspiration to take home.

He makes the most fantastic solid outdoor furniture… makes it from Iron Bark… very hard timber but today he had a few lazy susans in the boot of his car and offered to show me… I jumped at a chance to see more of his amazing creations…and be inspired…Here are two shots I took with my i-Phone…

Jim Beam

and Tooheys

and the Bundy Bear
Kev makes these lazy susans from the tops of oak wine barrels… and does all the routing free hand… totally amazing…
He is not only an inspiration but a heck of a nice bloke…

If you are interested in purchasing any of Kev’s work just email me for more details….

Clearly he’s not drinking that XXXX before cutting free hand.
That is most impressive, Larry.

Ouch! One of my worst hangovers ever was from drinking Bundy and coke in Darwin. Looks like he does some great work.

Fantastic work. I’ve used the router freehand and the result looks like I’ve been drinking, but I was cold sober.
