« Part 1: Episode #1 ... Kens Shed. Part 2 of 1001 Aussie Sheds series Part 3: Keith Yarkers Shed. »

The other day I got a call from a good mate of mine… George McNab… asking if I could use some small offcuts of Hairy Oak..

Some of you may have seen George at various Wood Shows… he is a supplier of Western Queensland Timbers… for boxes and pens.

It seems he had been cutting up some logs and the bits that were of no use to him, he was going to chip…I was over like a shot.. in the Ute..

There actually was a huge pile and with the Good Lazy Wife in tow… I did not have the time to load all the timber.. so I grabbed a wheelbarrow load and make arrangements to visit during the week with my other good mate Col in his ute..and we can split the spoils.. If you look in the video you will see the pile..

I reckon that we might just fit it all in one ute load…Some of it will end up as lids and inserts for Col’s famous Boxes.. Stay tuned for episode #3… Col’s Shed.

You are one lucky dawg, to have a friend to have a barn full of beautiful wood. And he probably gave it away, truth be told. Like I said you are lucky Larry!!

Great video. I was one of the folks that commented on the rapid movement in your first video. This one was just fine. Very pleasing to watch and I don’t feel dizzy.

I can’t wait till the next episode!
Keep up the great editing.

Thanks,
-Rocko

Well done video Larry. I wouldn’t be surprised if you quit woodworking to go into film production instead! Every time I see the wood there I’m tempted to move to Australia. The weather looks pretty good too.
