« Part 2: Part 2 Moving to Thailand Part 3 of Goodbye, farewell and amen... series no next part

I will land in Thailand with a change of underwear and a toothbrush… will be selling all goods and chattels… house cars furniture etc.

The one bedroom Condominium we are renting is fully furnished and costs only AU$$90 per week… food is really tasty and cheap and I will rent a motor scooter to get around.. other than that will use TukTuks and SongTeows … [small means of transport…]

I have already started learning to read write and speak the Thai language and will continue taking lessons at one of the many language schools in the town.

I intend to assimilate into the community where we will be living… and study the customs and traditions of my adopted country…

Travel around Asia is also on the agenda… very cheap within Asia…

I will also make a Vlog about our retirement on YouTube. Will notify LJs when i put up my first videos… and hope that you all will subscribe to my new channel… thanks in advance…

OMG shades of Homer Simpson in his undies arriving in Thailand…!!!!
and degoose will now be AKA Brendon Burney Mk 2.

But wait there is more.

I need to complete the workshop wiring before you advertise the house, and remove my trolley before you completely vacate and leg it. Any projected dates yet?

Whats happening to the dogs?

As for beer, see if there some of this about.

ack Murray

However on a more serious note, God speed and enjoy.
Keep in contact and dont go doing a Jim Thompson on us.

Larry, do let us know when you start putting up videos, sounds interesting.

My wife and I will be taking a cruise starting in Singapore early next year. My oldest daughter and family are living in Singapore for three years, so that’s our excuse for going there.

Have fun, and remember to stay safe, as well…
