Applying finish to Lock

Today I started applying the finish to my lock. I am using Arm-R-Seal for the first time It seems to be working out really well. Finishing is not one of my strong skills, but I am trying to learn as much as I can.

I recommend TWWs DVD on A Simple Varnish Finish. You can’t go wrong and you’ll end up with a great finish. And the technique is so simple it will not only give you a great start but will help build a foundation for from which you can evolve. Good luck.

I saw that Rockler had that DVD on clearance but were sold out at the store.
