Today we went to The Woodworking Show in Columbus Ohio. I look forward to this every year. There were alot of great prices on a variety of products. I bought a Kreg bandsaw fence and a few shop supplies. I have been wanting to get one of the glue bot bottles and some of those glue spreaders. I think my son got the best deal. He bought 4 40 ” bessey parallel clamps for $129.99. I also bought a Timberwolf bandsaw blade. The only thing I missed seeing was the large power tools. The only cabinet saw that was there was a Unisaw. It was the first one I have seen up close.

Really, no big saws except for the Unisaw? That’s surprising. Of course you could always run over to Woodwerks in Gahanna where they have an extensive large-machine display. Whenever I visit Columbus, I make it a point of going there.

I have dropped a lot of money at WoodWerks.

If you go there tell them “Todd from Montana says Hi.”

There is usually an industrial machinery show downtown Columbus too. It is open to the public but it is attended mostly by businesses.

They have some good business seminars for people interested in learning more that way.

WoodWerks always has a sale on the same weekend as the woodworking show because they know that a lot of guys come into town for the show and they capitalize on that.

I wasn’t driving and my friend had to be home . I wanted to go to Woodwerks, I have never been there. I forgot to mention there was alot of people there. Crowds don’t usually bother me, but as I get older seems like I start to feel trapped. But for the chance to see new tools I try to ignore it. I think my friend are going to the show in Indy next weekend.
