its very beautiful dan, i think your whole home remodle should be in some home type magazine, so much work and such a stunning outcome, it deserves a award i think, and you deserve a holiday to some warm caribbean island , if that wont happen , then maybe a cup of hot coffee out in the shop while looking at the snow come down….:)

Thanks Grizz. I’ve got a lot of furniture to make before I have an open house. As far as a vacation. My wife and I have plans for a Maine to Louisiana trip after the holidays. Always wanted to catch the food and music on Bourbon street. Never been there.

great job craftsman! you’ve been getting a lot done around the homestead lately. be careful around the bourbon street area. but it will be good to be in a 30 degree less, climate for awhile. did your finger heal up well?

Thanks Grizz… Don’t think we’ll be getting that far east this time as we’ll be going via western NY to see one of our daughters. thanks for the offer though.

Doordude… The finger healed up quite well. It was supposed to be cut off but I resisted and after my doctor actually said he was sorry for the wrong diagnosis. I did do a bout of c.diff for about 6 months though which made me wonder if it was worth it sometimes. If you don’t know what c.diff is, google it. Nasty stuff.

For those who don’t know what this is all about. I almost lost a finger due to a splinter.
