Wow that was fast. I must be getting older… Zip… it passes.

I’ve been here coming up on one year now. Posting sometimes with comments and projects. Lurking the rest of the time watching the sawdust personalities interacting and gleaning what I can from the many words of wisdom. I’ve made my first woodworking items in the past year as I started working with wood pretty much a year ago when I discovered LJ’s after I finished off an area for my shop.
I discovered LJ’s at that time while perusing the net for ‘how to’ advice and videos on what to do next. Of all that searching and bookmarking LJ’s is the only one that gets a daily or more than daily return. Heck I even drove a distance to attend a local LJ get together.

Thanks all for your assistance to someone who still can’t get out of the newbie state of mind. Some of you have been there regularly and others are numerous but fleeting acquaintances. All have been worth it.

Oh, again.. Thanks Martin. I think you must have put together the most successful woodworking social interaction site on the net. I’m not a facebook or twitter person at all. When people ask me what social network service I’m on I say “LJ’s, it’s the only place other members are saying anything I want to hear.”.

Tomorrow 12/27/09 marks day 365

Congratulations on your first year…I’m right behind you.
Thanks for all YOUR contributions to LJs. It was a wonderful New England Get-together this summer.
Looking forward to more.

Congratulations on your year. It’s a wonderful day in the neighbourhood, where we get to play.

It’s great having you here and sharing your work with all of us.

Congrats on your first year. Glad to have all the different personalities on this site. It keeps it interesting. Lots of great info and talent here.

Looks like there are several of us coming up on our first year. Maybe we should have a birthday party? haha

Looking forard to many more years of your posts.
