My Shopsmith has been a great tool for me, but I am looking to purchase a new table saw in 3-6 months with a budget under $1000. I have been reading all the reviews on all the different saws in my price range out there, Craftsman (no), Grizzly, Ryobi and Delta. I am looking for used or new. I can fix, repair or rebuild just about anything, so that is not an issue.
Any ideas on which way to go?

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Thanks Everybody for the welcome notes.

I have learned alot in the past month on LJ. A lot of really nice people, projects and a wealth of ideas.
I do not need to show my wife all the great projects everybody posts on here, if she sees something on here she likes, she will have me building it! Not enough time yet to do all the projects I have to complete, let alone start something new. I need to get my outdoor kitchen and pergolas completed first. All while starting a new job in 2 weeks! If you are in the S.E. Wisconsin area and need tires or tire repairs just email me and I’ll take care of you.
Sorry about the commercial, just really excited about the new job at 53 years old.

Thanks again everyone. And great website to boot!

Welcome to LJ’s. We are here to help one another with woodworking. Feel free to ask members for advise. But Be aware…this site can be very addictive…………LOL

I finished my backyard and outdoor kitchen last summer. I have pics on here as well. Good luck.
