I have a ‘42-45 unisaw in restore condition. I has mostly surface rust and can mostly be sanded out. I was thinking about doing a restore but want to focus my efforts on woodworking.It has the much sought after goose egg cover. I removed the top for pics. The motor 1.5 hp 3 ph. The goose egg.! Continental Industries 15" planer - 2 replies
I just bought this planer off CL. It runs on 220 and cuts pretty good. It gets some snipe at the end of a pass, but I am sure that the rollers can be adjusted.Anyways any body know any thing about this brand. This thing has to be about 500 lbs. and I need to get into my basement shop before my wife sees it in the garage.:)

I have an older montgomery wards band saw. I need some new blades for it. It measures 68 1/4”.I have bunch of walnut scraps that I can trade.Or if someone wants to buy the saw they can for a good price.

Long miters - 4 replies
Making a music stand. I want the long pole to sit inside a long box like tube. So the pole can slide up and down. What is the best way to make a long miter. The pole is white oak and the base will be walnut. My table saw will only tilt to the left. Also I want to try and wrap the grain at least on two sides each.
