After previous experiences trying to drill straight holes with a hand drill and having disasterous results, you’d think I would know better. I mean the drill press was RIGHT THERE after all, but nooooo. I had to keep listening to the video from Fine Woodworking…
Well to say the least, when I went to put it all together, I discovered that holes exited in places nowhere near where I wanted them… And correcting them on the drill press only made for holes with sides that were too thin to be any good…
Now I have to wait for tomorrow, head back over to McCoys, get a couple more 4×4s, and start over again…
Oh well, at least the top is done.
Guess I will work on decking and the kitty condo this weekend…
