So we are in the process of upholstering the kitty condo project. Wrap after wrap of that obnoxious rough sisal rope goes on,...

Somehow about halfway down the main post my lovely bride has the audacity to ask me the one question that nobody should ask at that point when the person doing the work has had his hands rubbed raw by rope…

“What if she doesn’t like it?” She asks….

Calmly I look at my wonderful wife, smile and ask her…

“You know how nice and soft Kitty is right?”

“Yeah” she says…

“I’m gonna kill her and turn that fur into glove liners for this winter if she doesn’t use it…”

Of course I am kidding, we LOVE both of our critters, but what a time to ask THAT question!

I am about 3/4 down the main pole, both intermediary tiers are carpeted and the fake fur pillow for the top tier is nearly done…

I haven’t done a lick of upholstery or carpeting work since my first year in college, and that was a LONG time ago… What a refresher course!

Time to grab a beer, kick back and relax…

Next projects are going to be lighting fixtures and a programmable, remote control / touch screen thermostat. Hopefully sometime this week I can get to cutting the legs and routing the slots for my work bench. Maybe next weekend work on the top. I bet LOML has other plans for me though…
