no previous part Part 1 of clean up series Part 2: stanley no. 5 1/4 »

I’ve got a new garage and have started to clean what tools could be salvaged from the fire. I will be blogging about it. This will be my first ever blogging series. Hopefully i’ll get better a blogging. i’ve cleaned up a few tools already to see how it would go. It went better then expected. I thought the heat from the fire mixed with the cold of the firehose water would crack eny plane in the way, but i have yet to find a crack in eny of them. Hopefully the there isn’t much rust from all the water.

this is my new garage.

this is the inside. sad to say it’s allready being filled with junk.

this is my workbench at the moment i’m trying to build a better one. that’s the top of my new workbench being glued up.

this is my lathe from the fire it’s fine, except the moter wont spin the belt without a little shove.

this is the place i’m cleaning my tools.

and this is where i keep my tools after i clean them.

i hope to get more pic’s up.
thanks for lookin.

Sorry to hear about the fire, I believe there is a limit to how many pics you can post in a blog by direct link. You can always upload to a third party hosting site like photobucket and then use the “img” to share them in your text. HTH
