At the moment I don’t have much time to work on all my unfinished project but hopefully this weekend I can finish two of my tills for my carpenters trunk. I’ve been needing a place to store my tool out of the way when not needed so I put together a carpenters trunk. I don’t have much money so it’s only made from pine but i hope one day to build one out of a harder wood. I’m thinking walnut or oak. Well I dovetailed the sides and grooved in the top and bottom. I still need to attach supports for the tills. I have another till parshly made its for my rabbit, plow, and moving fillister planes. (And other specialty planes) I think if all go’s well i’ll be able to finish both tills this weekend, then I can start on a third till for my molding planes. If enyone has eny cool suggestions post them.
Thanks for reading. Hope you liked it.

I know the feeling. The big thing is the img buttons. Those should walk you through the rest.
Sounds like you have a nice selection of planes. I am looking for a rabbet plane now, can’t wait til that hunt is over.

Wood. I have a metal one and I hate it. (same sentiment for my plow…but I hate it a whole lot less)

I wouldn’t worry too much about making a tool chest from pine. Assuming you’re ever going to move it around, you might not want it to be hardwood. It’ll already be heavy enough loaded up with tools…
