I am very sorry to have to write this, my heart is completely broken right now. I have just found out that Michael Wurm, aka jockmike2 has passed away yesterday at Owosso Memorial Hospital. I was out of town and did not get word until I saw it on facebook.

I met Mike through LJ’s and the man was my mentor and brother. I know that many of you he counts as dear friends and he has been a major supporter of this site. I can’t write much more right now. I will keep all of you posted on any developments.

Rest in Peace Mike, you are one of the dearest friends I ever had.

David

Kind words David. Michael thought very highly of you. I will relay any condolences and setup contact information for cards, etc. I will make sure his wife and family receive any of the comments left here.

I’m very sorry to hear this; please give my condolences to the family and may the Lord care for them during their time of grief.

I am in shock.
Almost 2000 days as a LumberJock, he is one of the originals (as a person and a LumberJock, now that I write that). A great support, friend and woodworker.

Thanks all for the comments. I know I am not the only one that finds the world a little dimmer with him gone. Not because he took light away but because he added so much brightness while he was here.

Very sad to hear about Mike, he was a real nice guy and will be missed. Take heart David that you had special time with him. My thoughts go out to you and his family.

We where very shocked to hear about Mike’s passing from MsDebbie.

I so happens that I just started a forum topic about his passing before reading this. I’m sorry! I didn’t write this intentionally, it just happened by coincidence.
