Ok, I wanted to be part of a contest, so this one is it. Did you know that Rockler Bench Cookies can be used for the purpose of noise suppression? Watch this video and find out how…

Happy Woodworking all,

David

I’m with Patron- I figured you were going to cover your ears, but it’s better to start at the source of the noise. If I could bear to get slobber on mine, I’d cram the whole set of four in my mom-in-law’s Cocker Spaniel’s mouth.

I should probably point out that my kids did enjoy themselves in the video :) My youngest wanted to make it a very big production so I let him know it had to be under a minute. Just wanted to mention that just in case someone wanted to lecture on the horrors of child abuse…

Glad everyone understood the humor so far and glad you all enjoyed. Thanks for your kind comments.

And Rustic, good luck with that wife thing… I know WAY better than to even think about incorporating that concept in the video. Otherwise, the next hat we would see Debbie P wearing would probably be made from my hide. And I love my hide way too much to risk it :)

And just to add to the post, after reading AtomJack’s comment, I put plastiwrap around the cookies to protect the boys and the cookies from the mouth and shop cooties.

Thanks Brian. I will pass that on to them. They were kind of geek’ed to know that they would be watched by people online. They thought that was really cool.

Thanks all for the comments. I was looking at the videos made so far. I didn’t realize LJs had so many budding directors, producers, screenwriters, and actors out there. Boy do we have a talented community :)
