This is the time of year that I have to be a good husband and do things with my wife on the weekend’s, stuff like going to festival’s, camping and some shopping. this weekend was rainy so I spent some time in the shop. I have a sister that is opening a store and wants to stock some of the stuff I make, mainly pens and pencils that I turn, so I made some display racks to help showcase them. I figured why buy them when I’ve got plenty of scraps, I could make them instead of buying them, I’ve bought 2 in the past and they were $15 and $17, so this should save some money. Here are some of what I’ve came up with.I made one of this style, it holds 10 pens.
I made two of this style they hold 5 each.
She also wants to sell bottle stoppers. I haven’t made any until now here are my first two attempts.
I made a bottle stopper holder and another pen display that holds another 7 pens.
I am also making 4 more that will hold 2 each, made for a matching pen & pencil sets. Well that about all for now as the weather gets better my wife keeps me hopping on the weekends so I have less time in the shop. So I’ll post when I can. Thanks as always for looking.
