Hello everyone. I have been busy making stuff and have finally finished a video that has been almost a year in the making. I made this video to be like a commercial for me and my work so it doesn’t give any tutorial. I do have a series of videos to be published soon that are more along that line.
My goal as a video maker is to provide the viewer with an alternative to the typical format of woodworking videos; where a guy stands across the bench and talks at the camera, showing little detail or closeups of the things being described. I want to give the viewer an idea about how I solve problems in the shop while wrapped in a cinematic, entertaining package. I want the videos to excite people about woodworking and get them into their shop as much as I want to share my skills as a woodworker.
Enjoy. And Thanks.

Thanks for the video David!
I understand how the time passes and the projects just sit, It happens to me. I also like to time laps. I’m wondering if you used a GOPRO for some of the shots? I also have a gopro.
Thanks

thanks, guys. @woodworkinggeek – good eye. yes, it’s a go pro. i love that thing. if you see my youtube page I shot an entire trip to Alaska in time lapse.
I shoot video compulsively and as a result I have tons of footage of woodworking. I’m hoping to edit these faster and produce much more furniture and videos. I appreciate the feedback from the LJ community!

Saw your video on Scott Wunder's site, and after searching for projects done with sycamore, I came across it here! Turned out great, really nice work.

Sorry but I guess I’m an old foggie but most of that video I had no interest in, it seems the furniture part of the video was only about 20 seconds Long. I’m glad you enjoyed making this video and that others enjoyed it too.

As long as you like what you do and so do others then that’s all that counts Dave ,old coots don’t know anything anyhow. Best wishes and much success.
