Location: Chicago, IL

I grew up on a farm in KS and moved to Chicago for a job in 1999. I missed tinkering, so when we bought a house, I claimed the basement as my own. I started out as a power tool guy and am transitioning to a hybrid wood worker with a hand tool emphasis. My goals for this transition are efficiency, effectiveness, and noise/dust reduction.

If I could just get the house projects done, I would have some 'real' time to make some cool furniture.....

I am a PROUD graduate of Kansas State University. GO WILDCATS!!!!!!!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
