Unique Entertainment Center #2: Part 2

Man its been a long time since my first post so I will try to catch you up on my progress.

I have been plaining a lot of cherry wood at the start of the project. I filled up three 55 gallon drums of shavings!

I extended the feed area and the out area of the plainer with 2X4’s and positioned the plainer at the double doors that open into the garage to accommodate the board lengths. Sure glad I thought if using double doors!

Lots of boards to be glued up!

Again using the garage (my side that has never seen a vehicle in it). LOL

Had to get quite creative to clamp the end pieces on the top!

Sure could have used some 10’ clamps this time!

Tons of sanding!

Pre assembly of the basic frame to see that it all fits together:

Then clean/clear the front room area and move the frame in to get the wall contour using cardboard:

Once the cabinet top matches the wall contour I will linseed oil it and prep for a clear top coat.

Unique Entertainment Center #1: Unique Entertaiment Center

I am about to take on a very big Project! It’s not going to be the easiest because it defies standard construction logic.
The project: Entertainment Center for the front room. Need to replace this mess:

With something that looks better than my sketch:

So what’s the big deal? If you viewed my shop you will recognize the problem. We live in a dome! All the walls are curved around and up! Notice my side view in the above drawing. The back side is curved.
Don’t believe it? Here is a photo from then side:

Notice the wall follows the curved back of the television! Hey the TV fits real nicely against the curved wall so that’s great but nothing is flat or square. Do you see my challenge now? The walls are solid concrete and where hand toweled so they are relatively smooth except for the stucco finish. Anyplace the cabinet will join the wall will have to be a custom cut.
My thoughts are to build a rectangular frame as illustrated here in the overhead drawing:

Within this frame I would build 4 sections. Left and right would probably be for speakers and the two center areas would be drawers behind cabinet doors. Looking roughly like this:

This would be the base unit with the left and right tops setting on top of it along with the TV. I thought that I would build a face frame and hang the fronts and doors off it. Then the sides would basically be hung onto the sides.
Obviously it would be a permanent fixture because of the inconsistence of the wall surface moving it even an inch or so would mess up the side to wall junctions.
Anyone ever face this challenge? Got any advice or is my view of this project off a bit? Obviously I can use all the suggestions anyone has.

OK everything I try does not work!

I don’t even own a camera so I had to bug my good neighbor that even edited the footage and added a title etc.
After two attempts to get it to work I have failed! Kind of like learning to do new things with tools – the first few attempts are just that attempts.
I am so naive that I read it as ending on the 22nd (today) so I thought I had till midnight today to get it to work. I see that that was an incorrect assumption on my part so I loose all around.
BUT
You can view my shop tour by going to this link:
