I've been woodworking as a hobby since early 2003. Inbetween working on furniture for my family, I like to turn. My favorite style of turning is segmented turning.I enjoy the challenge of taking several (meaning more than 100) individual pieces and making something completly unique.

Hi, Darryl! Thanks for the welcome, I am indeed a lifetime Granite Stater. I looked around your site here- looks like your shop had a rough go of it in “05! I gotta post up some pictures of MY shop, people will LOL @ me! But, we do what we have to, with what we have, because we must….Keep making that sawdust! Michael C.

Hello Darryl, I have been looking at your segmented work. Awesome job. Have you every thought about writing up a tutorial on how you make your pen blanks and bottle stoppers…from raw stock to finished product I mean? I would be scared to death to cut the little triangles you show in your blog unless there was a safe way to do it.

Have your say...
