Hello Everyone!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but I wanted to share this with everyone.
For those of you who do woodburning, I think you will find this interesting. Next weekend (June 4, 2011) will be the opening of a 3 month pyrography exhibit at Anrews Art Museum in North Carolina. This will be the first such exhibit in an Art Museum.
This is going to be monumental as it will promote the art form of Pyrography, also known as woodburning. There will be 20 artists who will each be displaying three pieces of their artwork. This is not just a National Exhibit, but also an International Exhibit as we have artists from China, Austraila, and Italy.
Check out this article written by C.S.Alexis…http://hubpages.com/hub/Pyrographers-Exhibit-At-All-Pyrography-Show. Be sure to keep scrolling down to read the whole article and see the video.
I hope that some of you might be able to travel to see this exhibit during the 3 months it is showing.
Take care…Danette
