Joining Plywood side and bottom of a cabinet - 12 replies I’m in the process of designing/building a sideboard cabinet. A bit in the craftsman style, and has legs and rails. I’ve run into a design issue: how do I join the side plywood sheet and the bottom plywood sheet where they meet the rail? What do you think? Classic butt joint with biscuits? Storing Chemicals - 4 replies Can anybody recommend a good way to store chemicals in the shop? I have a few cans of oils and finishes, and cleaners and thinners. I know I’m supposed to keep these in a metal box, but I can’t seem to find one anywhere. Any tips are appreciated. |

stuck dry-fit dovetails - 11 replies So I’m stuck. Actually, my dovetails are stuck. I tried a “dry fit” after a little paring, and used a dead blow to get the pieces together.
