My shop is a 20×24 converted RV carport. I poured a concrete floor and closed it in. Once weather-tight, I spent a lot of time insulating, wiring. sheeting the interior walls. I put 15 inches of insulation in the attic and six inches in the walls. It is nice and cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. I sheeted the walls with OSB so that I could hang things anywhere I wanted to. I may paint the walls white later to increase the lighting, just don’t hold me to it.

It is a work in progress and evolves as my needs and tool inventory changes. I will post some pics soon. I am currently finishing up an eight foot long window seat for a friend. Once done, I can get the tools back to their normal position and take some pics to post on LJ.

Remember what Henry Ford said. “You can have your workshop any color so long as it’s white.” ( At least I think he said something like that.)
