Dust Collection nightmare #1: Helpful? Hint

We all know the difficulties of finding the right fittings and designing a system, but here’s a new wrinkle, for me, at least. I picked up a box with two different lengths of 1.5” I.D. pool hose included and the described fittings were missing. This salvage store sold it to me for $3.50. The hose was a perfect fit on 4 shop tools; a 12” Makita miter saw, a Harbor Freight Oscillating Spindle Sander, a Craftsman 4×24” belt sander (seldom used), and a DeWalt ROS.
