Always wondered how you got them up in the air; I see now you use side branches for support. Is the 9’ base somehow attached to the platform? Even your base and platform is a piece of art. I love all of these birdhouses and they look even better up in the air. Are these in your yard or the yards of the new owners? I’m thinking you probably have many in your own yard now.

Thanks again Diane ! It took about a hour and a half to put all the houses up with the forklift and then i went around each birdhouse replacing each temporary brace with a pre cut log with a 45 degree cut on each end .Once they are all on i use 4 L- shaped steel brackets to tie the birdhouse base and the post together .

JOHN !!!!!! Do you think I could live in one of these? ...even if I’m not a bird.
They’re nicer than my home.
FANTASTIC!!!

Thanks again everyone for all the very generous comments . It was a little scary standing underneath the large houses and leveling them by myself . I had to undo the braces on both sides at once to tip the house level :)

Have to love your craft John to take a chance like that. I guess there’s no way to keep it on the lift while you do this?
