« Part 2: Tage Frid three legged stool part 2. Part 3 of Tag Frid three legges stool series no next part

I complete the three legged stool. In this episode I glue up the seat and eventually the rest of the stool. I shape the legs, install the wedges in the mortise and tenons, sand and finish the stool. Thanks for the support and kind comments! This was a fun project and satisfying to have completed it. Best Regards
Chris

Hey- that turned our realy nice!
Just received the Tage Frid box set the other day after 7(!) weeks in the mail. But they were worth the wait and i read them al in one go. Can understand why you want to build one of his designs. Realy appreciate Frid´s no-nonsense style.

Looks like she came out great!

Also looks like those oval legs were a real bear to do—how many hours did you have in them?

I had way more than I could have into them. I did not utilize the block plane sooner and if I had it would have just been a couple hours all in all.. I though I was going to be able to use belt sander more and it just was not right! Now I am a real fan of hand plane! Made a lot easier work of it once I got the hang of it.

Thanks for watching!
