chris I believe that extra hole is so you could put your wheals on either side the base seams to real nicely built

Chris I had one of these on a band saw for about a year. I recently sold it and the saw for a new Porter Cable 16 inch band saw and I have created a dedicated space for this saw so I don’t need the mobile base. I will agree however that it is a good product for the price. HF has many good products but you must be careful and know what your buying

did they say the wood rails/stretchers are 1 1/4” X 1 1/4” ?
That would seem sort of thin, maybe I am wrong.

Did who say it? Yes they are 1 1/4×1 1/4 inch square…
