Jeffrey, you are doing just fine. This is a really nice lathe. About 6-8 months ago one of these popped up in the local classifieds. It was 3 years old and came with a complete set of Sorby turning gouges. The seller wanted $1800 for it. Needless to say it was gone the next day and I have repeatedly kicked myself for not following up on it. When I make room in my shop for a lathe this is the one I want to put in there.
By the way if you want you can post additional pictures of your shop. For those of us, like myself who are avowed shop addicts, visual tours of other shops are a real treat.

Scott…Thank you for the posting, I am still stumbling around trying to figure it all out. I need to spend a day just playing around on here and update my profile.
I just got that lathe about a year ago and finally got it out of the box a few months ago and I totally love it I have had a few lathes over the years started with a drill in a vise as a kid, 53 now and deserve the Powermatic…sounds like good logic right…if you get one you will not rgret it at all.
I have lots of pics I need to get posting but I am still setting up my shop.
Thanks for taking the time to write
