My first shop was in my mother’s garage and consisted of a 12” Craftsmen Commercial table saw and a 4” or 6” Craftsman jointer. I even managed to have shop when I moved into an aparment. I was in my store room. I kept the table saw under the stairs.

Years later, I bought a house with a two car garage. I repaced the table saw with an Inca 2100 SE and the jointer with a Delte 8” one. I added a 14” Delta band saw and floor standing drill press as well as a 13” planer. I also got a Ince shaper. I had a collection of hand tools that had been handed down in the family.

A year or two ago, I then made the mistake of buying a Festool router. When I used it, I was inffffected with Festool Acquisition Syndrome. Now I have an embarassing large collection of Festool products including three MFT3’s. Two make up my work bench. The other one is my out feed table and is moved around for other uses. I also have the free standing router table.

Then there was a flurry of Woodpecker squares and ruler acquisitions. I’m now replacing my Roecod planes with ones from Veritas. When will this madness stop.
