My shop is still under construction / development. I have a 3000 square foot warehouse for my business, so I sectioned off an area about 25 feet square. We built 2×4 walls with OSB, and I had an electrician run a bunch of 110 and a couple 220v circuits for me – luckily I have 2 almost unused 200amp 3 phase panels at my disposal. Also added a couple new overhead fluorescents. The ceilings are about 16 feet tall, my wall only goes up 8 feet, so I am considering ading some plastic to the rafters to help contain the dust.

I have added cabinets on the back wall for storage and also a miter saw station, and built infeed/outfeed tables for the saw. The tables are removeable so I can use more bench space if neded.

Today I started the duct work for the dust collector, it lives on the other side of the back wall.

Still lots to do, here is a short list of the major tools I have:

Grizzly 0691 table saw
Grizzly 555 band saw
Grizzly 0451P Jointer
Makita 12” Planer
Jet 17” drill pres (I liked the lasers!)
Grizzly 0733 lathe
Makita 12” sliding compound miter saw
Grizzly 562 3HP Dust Collector with remote
Rigid Combo Sander
Shop Fox Belt/disk Sander (a freebie!)

So far with all this stuff, all I have made are the slider saw tables, a cart for my shop vac / Dust Deputy, and 2 pens! Oh well, no hurry – right now I am relegated to working on setting up the shop on weekends pretty much, other “work” to do weekdays…

Now that’s a sweet setup! Super space for some great tools.
