Project Information

This is the Brandy TrayI made for my wife and the design turned out just perfect for the purpose.
The design is totally new with the winged handles having three rectangular openings and the handles flowing into the ends of the tray curved maple fronts which also have the three rectangular openings with walnut sections bordering them to create a little visual effect . The tray ends are again solid maple and the legs are attached to them in a seven degree inward slope to compliment the slope of the tray fronts and ends .The bottom of the tray is thick (1/8") walnut veneer on plywood and adds another contrasting dimension to the tray.
Finished with satin poly which suites this design perfectly .
Comments and questions always welcome !

Defiantly a Top 3. I like this one more than the last as it has a bit more flare.

The design and wood combo is simply perfection. I could not find anything I didn't like.
Just a question here, are the openings in the handles big enough for all 4 fingers? Thanks Klaus.

I went to high school with a girls named Brandy Tray and Candy Barr.
Yours is much better looking than they were in high school.

A really nice project, once again!
You appear to be in a tray making mode.

Beautiful job. It looks perfect the way you've photographed it too. You've been busy the last few days.

You should really try to sleep! When do you rest? These trays are truly amazing as usual. I got Ma's Coffee table finally completed, quick buffing tomorrow then pack it up for a road trip.

Klaus that is truly beautiful. It has a very Asian look to it. It might be well suited for a tea ceremony tray. Was the Asian influence planned?

Besides the fact that your projects are awesome.
A lot of people on this site could take tips from you on how to photograph their projects.
It isn't just making something great, but also presenting it as best you can.
(and you always do.)
Nice work man.
