Project Information

This box is made out of curly maple and black walnut. It measures 8 1/2"L on all three sides and stands 4 1/2" tall. The diamond feet/legs are 2" tall and were fun to cut on the bandsaw. This box gave me more head-aches than I thought possible but it turned out okay in the end. It's rubbed/wet-sanded with Howards wax and buffed up real good. Thanks for the looks and comments.

What a unique box design. I like the triangle feet, it gives it a different look. Nice wood selection.

Very nice Jay
I like this triangle box shape a lot and have experimented with it also.
They are harder to get just right and you did a wonderful job on this one !
Walnut and maple do make a nice contrasting combination .
