That is SO COOL!

The time it must have taken to get it planned & adjusted must be a lot!

At the very end when the balls are lining up to go UP, raises questions:
Just the force of One ball hitting the long string upward is enough to move the line ONE ball?
No other energy required to help out?
I guess the weight of the balls is very important and the whole design could change depending on the ball weight?
It looks like you are using electrical wire with a huge amount of insulation… Is that correct? What are you using for the black railings?

Thank you… Looks awesome!

Hé thanks for your reaction!

I don't now what you mean with the first question about the lift. The second question about witch material I use. ( Black track ) Its simple tube with ironwire in it. You can find it on our website.

So, Write me back for the first question.

OK, 1st question… The Lift.

When a marble finishes it's journey and comes to the end, it rolls down to Hit the chain of marbles waiting to be Pushed Upward (Lifted). It hits with enough force to raise the chain of waiting marbles by One marble releasing the top marble into the track for another ride down the tubes.

That is what I meant by the Lift… etc.

I got such a kick out of this. Waiting for the ball to drop was torture. The toggle at top is simply genius.

Thanks for your comment!

Now I understand what you mean by asking about the lift. No the marbles are not going up by pushing each other. The lift is driven by a motor at the back of the marble-machine.

So there is power needed for the lift.
Thanks for all your comments and see you.

Wouldn't the ball force loading another ball make it a perpetual motion machine? Now that would be the trick of all tricks…:). Very cool project!
