Project Information
Here is another board that degoose inspired me to make with his blog on weave boards. It is Walnut, Yellowheart and Bloodwood. This board was harder to make than the endgrain board I made earlier. I will admit that I used some extra glue and walnut colored wood filler to close some gaps. They were less than 16th of an inch but they were there. I sanded it to a 400 grit and then used mineral oil then a coat of mineral oil mixed with beeswax. I am sure that she will like it. She will get it kinda late fo r mothers day since we are not going down there till later this week. Any comments and criticisms are welcome.
