Project Information
Gossiper Table/Sit Conversion
This kind of arrangement in my country it's called a "gossiper". It normally has an upholstery soft sit at its lower deck where you sit and talk over the phone.
When I was half way into this project I changed my mind and converted it to something more practical and useful for me, a double deck table to hold my printer, scanner and telephone off-course.
It's been made out of Swedish Pine Wood and veneered plywood. The legs are joined with corner mortise and tenon joints and the box sides and top with biscuit joints.
The drawer is half blind dovetailed and it has a teak oil finish.
The photos where taken just when we moved into a new house and before it took its permanent position next to my home office.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for watching
