Project Information

This has been a longer than normal project to do. I wanted to make sure it would hold up for years so all of the cross pieces are mortised and tenoned, dovetailed, and interlocked. When I was done making it, it was assembled and tight before gluing it. It took about three days to come up with a good order to glue the sub assemblies. The cart is made of ash, drawers are made of maple. It was a challenge and fun to make. My wife has already put a baskey in the space to the right of the bottom drawers. She couldn't decide if she wanted a basket or a door - and if a door what it was to have for a center panel or shutters.

Thanks for looking.

Exquisitely done, David, and the continuous grain stuff shows attention to detail and a love for the wood. Nice job!
