Project Information

I have been wanting to try my hand out on making a wood goblet. Used 1/2×1/2 inch Bubinga and Maple surrounded by 1 inch Walnut Pieces. The whole thing is about 10 inches high. As I turned the stem and base, this interesting pattern was created. I was happy with it and was pretty easy. It will make a good holiday gift for the folks.

i like the woods. it would have been nice to try and turn a little thinner. this adds to the challenge of the turning and maybe it pleases the eye. but again : this is a very very nice goblet!!!!!

keep on turning
