Project Information

Hello All,

Made this chair for my wife to take to school with her. She wanted a windsor stool to use for sitting up in front of the class. As much as I would have liked to make her a stool I wanted her to be more comfortable. Plus what better way to improve your chair building skills than by building more chairs. Steaming and carving the crest is where most of the fun comes in for this one. I'm not sure what color she wants but it will be finished with 2 coats of milk paint and linseed oil.

Looks to me like you're expanding your skillsquite well and moving beyond The Windsor Institute chair templates. Nice chair.

Thanks for the kiind words guys. Just want to keep moving forward with the chair building. My wife really liked the chair and has decided on Lexington green milk paint. I'll post the chair when it is painted.
