Now is the time for me to venture back into the workshop and whip up some new designs that have been flopping around in my head ever since I left for New Zealand..
I have had my holiday … spent time with my daughter and her family… met some wonderful folks… seen some magnificent scenery and come back refreshed…
Oh and drank some fantastic Beer…LOL

Now I know… the tight weave at a slant…Run your mouse over each pic… and see what happens… cool hey
Here is another sneak peek of the slanted tight weave.. After the glue up, the board was sanded on the drum sander, cut into a circle on the bandsaw, chamfered the edges and just to give you a look at the color… I used a little turps…
this one looks awesome
i love how the darker accent strip (PH?) makes the white strip look offset
i like the diamond pattern too, instead of just square
