Project Information
After stepping on so many toys and tripping countless times, eventually I figured out that we needed to move the toys off the floor. I saw something similar to this online and decided to make my own. First step was to buy some plastic storage bins that have a lip suitable for sliding on cleats, then make the plan around them. Constructed from 3/4" baltic birch and biscuit joints, with Oak edging on all front edges for durability. This thing is quite sturdy although not the most artistic of pieces. It does the job and I can see adopting it to the garage shop in about 10 years from now.
